This week we attempt to dig at the topic of Roles vs. Goals by asking ourselves where we fall between the two and bracing for the answer. Do we want to simply be a part of a tribe, or do we set our career sights on a measurable outcome? Are these two things mutually exclusive? Even if they aren't, how does our work change when we lean toward one or the other?

Polytechnicast - Adding Audio Sprites to Guitar Fretter

In this episode of the Polytechnicast I share some thoughts on improving Guitar Fretter. I have a theory that when Guitar Fretter crashes when playing high levels it’s due to there being so many audio resources for the game to manage.

A quick episode follow-up note: I do some quick multiplication in my head during the episode, which was off, 13 x 6 = 78 (not 84). :-)
